Individuals and Groups are being invited to #GetYerKiltOn for St Andrew's Day, 30th November 2019, to help drive conversation on Scotland’s incredible history and culture.
The #GetYerKiltOn campaign is a tourism initiative by Fife Tourism Partnership which was a huge success last year and saw the support by celebrities such as Craig Hill and Huey Lewis.
To highlight the vibrant culture, rich heritage and unique hospitality of Scotland, all are being urged to don our kilts for this year’s campaign which has already received the backing of double Guinness World Record holder Mark Beaumont BEM and other Scottish influencers.
And to help drive awareness, Welcome to Fife are encouraging supporters to upload their kilted photographs to either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag: #GetYerKiltOn.
A programme of events will be taking place throughout the day and in the run up to Saturday 30 November including ceilidhs, crafting events and themed menus at popular restaurants and cafes.
Don’t have a kilt? Request a pack which includes your very own paper kilt and badge by emailing promoting.fife@fife.gov.uk
