Social Media – The Highs, The Lows, The Legals

Fife Business Week events take a close look at how to get the best out of social media in business

Communicating with your customers is core to good business and social media seems to be the perfect answer. But what happens when it doesn’t help sell products or your employees say the wrong thing?  A series of workshops explores the problems and opportunities during Fife Business Week.

CCW Legal and Fife Chamber of Commerce are hosting a seminar in Evans Business Centre in Kirkcaldy on 10th November to address the practical issues faced by employees when dealing with social media at work.  Guest speaker is Donna Reynolds from CCW Legal who is an Employment Law and HR Expert in advising companies of all sizes. To buy a ticket for this event please contact Jacqui Curley on 01592 647740 or jacquicurley@fifechamber.co.uk.  The event includes lunch and refreshments.

Business Gateway Fife is running a free workshop in Glenrothes on 13th November on how advertise with social media, looking at ways to use paid for social media to build relevant clients lists and generate sales on a number of social media platforms. These techniques complement other social media activities to help achieve business objectives.  To book a free place on this workshop contact Craig Rutherford on 01592 858333 or success@bgfife.co.uk

Details of all the events throughout Fife Business Week are available on www.fifebusinessweek.co.uk and on twitter from @BGFife #FBWeek.
