A group of Scottish female entrepreneurs will shine a light on ‘the future of the High Street’ when they take up residence within Edinburgh’s newest, prestigious retail destination.

Almost twenty businesses supported by Women’s Business Station will set up shop within the Sook unit of St James Quarter from 10am until 5pm, Monday 23 August until Sunday 5 September 2021.

Paul launched Ecobean in 2018 when he purchased and converted an old horse box and installed a small coffee roaster and espresso machine. He took the business out to customers on Kirkcaldy’s promenade, roasting coffee onsite and designing new blends.

Cyber Threat Warning to Fife businesses as Global Ransomware Attacks Double in the First Half of 2021

Cyber security experts in Fife are warning small businesses and charities to be extra vigilant after a surge in ransomware attacks in the first half of 2021.

Alba Digital Solutions is urging SMEs to take extra steps to protect against network vulnerabilities following the publication of a new report revealing global ransomware attacks hit a record 305 million in the first six months of this year.

The figure exceeds that of 2020, which recorded 305 million attempted attacks for the whole year, in its entirety.
