COOPER SOFTWARE REPORTS 22% INCREASE IN YEAR END REVENUE

Fife-based specialist technology consultancy, Cooper Software, has reported a 22% increase in revenue for year ending 31 March 2016, rising to c£4m.  The increase has been driven by key business wins in the second half of the year which has seen the company undertake projects for clients across multiple sectors including; manufacturing and engineering, high tech, oil and gas and CPG, both in the UK and in Europe.

Cyber Resilience Voucher Scheme - Launching 29 April 2016

The Cyber Resilience Voucher Scheme aims to support companies to improve their knowledge, understanding and strategy towards handling cyber security and protecting valuable information for the company.  An award of up to £1,500 is available to businesses to help secure the services of a cyber security expert to help them check their current systems and develop them to meet the Cyber Essentials UK Government Standard.

BRAG’s Greenpower Formula - Can You Support?

BRAG’s Greenpower Formula 24 Project has been running at BRAG for the last 2 years and what started out as a small project run in the evenings has now escalated to us having three Racing Teams.  We have two F24 Teams (11-16yrs) and 1 F24+ Team (16-25yrs), we have 16 young people involved with the project.  The project introduces young people to aspects of Engineering, Science, Technology and Mechanics to name a few through the designing, building and racing of a full size single seater battery powered racing car.  We have raced across the UK and against teams from Northern Ireland, Poland,

Dunfermline holiday company supports Fife mountain bike series for second year

Canvas Holidays has announced it will continue to play an active role in encouraging Fife's youngsters to get out and about on two wheels by supporting the Kingdom Crits for a second year running in 2016.
